Team

Our Team

Imaging Independently comprises a dynamic team of local radiologists with a common goal to provide quality imaging service. Whilst offering excellent general radiology skills, our team is also able to offer leading advice on all sub-speciality areas of medical imaging.

Dr Sharon Lee

doctor-profile Dr Sharon Lee undertook her radiology training at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. This was followed by a fellowship in cross-sectional and oncological imaging at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Institute, with a special focus on neurological, head & neck, and pelvic CT/MR imaging. Since 2007, she has been involved with radiology registrar training in her roles as lecturer in Radiological Anatomy at the University of Melbourne, and as staff radiologist at Western Health.

Outside of radiology, her passions are her young family, opera, food & wine, and she has also travelled extensively.

Dr Matthew Richardson

doctor-profile Dr Matthew Richardson trained in radiology at the Austin Hospital, and completed a fellowship in Interventional Radiology in 2003. Following this he completed a postgraduate MRI fellowship at Westmead Hospital and Castlereagh Imaging in Sydney.

His interests include cycling, overseas travel and computers. He is also an accomplished vocalist and is a former member of the Opera Australia chorus.

In conjunction with his work at II Eastern Health, he maintains involvement in supervising medical imaging trainees and academic research through a staff appointment at Southern Health.
